The trainer is designed to allow access to disc and drum brake components, as well as providing the opportunity to understand the operation of the hydraulic
circuit.

- Mount brake drum on lathe; machine braking surface
- Remove, clean, and inspect pads and retaining hardware
- Remove, clean, inspect, disassemble, reassemble, lubricate, and reinstall calliper assembly
- Clean, inspect, and measure brake disc with a dial indicator and a micrometer
- Refinish brake disc according to manufacturer's recommendations
- Remove and replace brake disc
- Check handbrake cables and components for wear, rusting, binding, and corrosion
- Adjust callipers with integrated handbrake system
- Diagnose poor stopping, noise, pulling, grabbing, dragging, or pedal pulsation concerns
